When Pinterest first came out, I just wasn’t really sure what the big deal was. I just kept hearing people talk about “pinning things” and I just wasn’t quite sure how to fit that into my daily life or, for that matter, why I even needed too
But once I decided to check it all out, I just had to join in the fun! I know that some of you are there with me… so thanks for following me!
Just like Twitter and Facebook, I was a little bit late to the game. But soon I could see the usefulness of this…no more clutter of pieces of paper all over the place of things I might want to cook someday, make someday or read someday. And even better, I could share it with my friends…and we could all feel like failures together when we never cooked any of it, made any of it or read any of it…
But soon it surpassed my expectations…the organizational capabilities of having as many boards as you would lilke?? Genius!! I’d have to have a whole house of bulletin boards to keep up with all the goodies like I’m doing there…and for some reason I’m thinking my hubby would NOT go for that…lol!
If you haven’t had a chance to find our blog there, here are some reasons I think you’d enjoy joining me there!
One of my favorite things to pin are the amazing resources I either have used myself, found online, or ones that have caught my eye on Pinterest. If you’re looking for some awesome educational ideas for your kiddos, you’ll want to keep an eye on my Ultimate Homeschool Resources board.
One of my most re-pinned boards Let’s Eat! I have always enjoyed cooking for my family, but over the last six months to a year, I have found renewed joy in it. I follow many amazing chefs on Facebook, and am constantly re-pinning some of the most scrumptious recipes I see. I’m also following a lot of self professed “foodies” on Pinterest too! If you want to see some of the most recent ones I’ve tried, I actually also have a Recipes from Pinterest that I have made! board….you should definitely check out the Chipotle and Corn Chowder from the Brown Eyed Baker….she’s got some YUMMY stuff!!
Another of of my most popular boards seems to be my Crafty Fun board….this is something that my daughter and I look forward to perusing when life settles down a little bit with preparing the home for selling and a hopeful move…we have seen some of the absolute CUTEST things on there…including a DIY doggy bed that we just *have* to make for Miss Sandy Sue someday!!
I also have our Schoolhouse Review Crew’s latest product reviews here…..showcase all the fun board games I’d like for our family to try out someday, and of course, some things that make me giggle here….
If you haven’t stopped by for a visit, I’d love to have you!! And….I follow back!!!

I love pinterest! It’s so much fun and so easy to keep everything you want to try in one place.
Isn’t it though? I adore the concept!!
Glad you’re enjoying Pinterest. It’s so much fun!
Thanks Gina!! Yes, it is!! And thanks for your help with the snipping tool suggestion…once I learned that, I was able to go back and fix my post right up…you inspired me to get it done! If I can ever help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask!!
This is EXACTLY why I adore Pinterest. I love that I can pin the same thing in four places, so that I don’t forget about it because I’m looking in the “wrong” spot.
I know Meg
Isn’t it dandy?
